Common questions

How do I log without picking up my phone?

Three ways, and all of them are free. Say it to Siri: "wet diaper", "start nursing left", "she's done". Tap a button on a home-screen widget or the Lock Screen. Or add BabyTeller's controls to Control Center and log from the swipe-down.

Siri isn't picking up my commands.

Say the app's name in the phrase, "start nursing left in BabyTeller", the first few times. iOS learns the shortcut after that. If a command still doesn't land, tell us the exact words you used; the phrasing list is something we extend.

Can my partner use it too?

Yes, and it's free for the two of you. Invite them from Sharing in Settings and you'll both see the same log, updating live. Adding a third caregiver, whether a grandparent, a nanny or daycare, is part of the paid unlock.

What does it cost?

The app is free, and the things you need at 3am stay free forever: logging, the summary, Siri, widgets, Control Center, reminders, growth charts, and sharing with one other person. A single one-time purchase, with no subscription ever, unlocks the rest. If you buy it once, you own it.

Where is my data?

On your phone, and in your own iCloud if you have it turned on. We never see it. There's no account to make and no server to hack. See the privacy policy for the details.

I got a new phone. Is my log still there?

If iCloud was on, yes. Sign in to the same Apple Account and it syncs down. If it wasn't, the log lived only on the old device, so turn iCloud on before you switch.

How do I restore a purchase?

Settings, then Restore Purchases. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so a new phone or a reinstall gets them back at no cost.
